Home pub

Family party is also one kind of pub life in Brighton. We just want to share a party we have experienced in our host family.

The Office

The Office

8 Sydney Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4EN

The Office is open, light and airy and much more a bar than a pub despite its pub-like frontage. Particularly as from this month it’s decided to specialise in all things gin. Currently it’s got a staggering 25 gins behind the bar with all the ones we love. Signature cocktail here is the perfect G & T. Come summer there’s a really nice little walled garden out the back laid out across two levels with potted plants and ivy growing up the walls – the ideal spot for sipping the elixir. Delicious Thai food, friendly staff and a great location in trendy North Laines make The Office one of Brighton’s coolest bars.

The people who help bring you Gintime also help bring you gin. Giants who have been around for over two centuries and new kids on the block.

The Eagle

A stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the North Laines, The Eagle is one of Brighton's hidden treasures. A laid back, homely little hub of friendliness with a knockout menu filled with hearty fresh food, great ales and plenty of jolly banter. With a welcoming charm of your favourite village pub and a precious gem of a sun-trap outside to boot, The Eagle has become one of the North Laines favourite pubs.
Whether you fancy a nice pint, a glass or two from our eclectic wine list or a freshly ground coffee, The Eagle is the place to go...
